According to Focus Online MEYTEC GmbH Informationssysteme ranks among the 21 most innovative enterprises of digital technology in Germany, when nominated as candidates for the “Digital Star Award 2014”. The main reason for this nomination is the development and realization of the Stroke Emergency Mobile Unit (STEMO) – “High-tech clinic with internet connection”. All medical-technology systems are digitally networked with each other in this special emergency vehicle. At the same time, the collected medical data can be immediately sent to the remote telemedicine centre via fast Internet connection. To date, STEMO provides the best example of MEYTEC’s innovative telemedical solution. The nominations for the, “Digital Star Award 2014”, were announced by an independent jury in January 2014 in Munich.
